A four storey brick apartment building. Originally known as ‘Our Lodgings’ it was built for the theatrical entrepreneur George Coppin to provide accomodation for needy families. Designed by William Pitt in the Modern Gothic style and built by J W Linacre in 1884. It was later used for lodgings for men and renamed Gordon House. Refurbished in 1978 into a mix of shops and offices. It was subdivided in stages from 1983 to 1996. It is now a mix of residential and serviced apartments.
