A combined retail, commercial, residential and carparking complex covering the site of the former Queen Victoria Hospital. Built by Grocon Constructions between 2002-2005. The site is intersected with private lanes. Divided into building properties namely QV Retail and Parking, QV1 and two being residential, MCC Creche (Pod H) and two office buildings being QV3 the Sensis Building and the BHP Billiton Building. The retail component is spread over several basement levels, along the lanes, ground and some lower floors. Designed by John Wardle Architects and the BN Group. QV1 on the corner of Little Lonsdale and Russell Streets is a concrete and steel 44 storey residential building designed by John Wardle Architects. QV2 on the corner of Little Lonsdale and Swanston Streets is a concrete and steel 12 storey residential building designed by McBride Charles Ryan. QV3 on the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale Streets are two interlinked concrete office buildings of nine stories and designed by Denton Corker & Marshall. The BHP Billiton Centre on the corner of Lonsdale and Russell Streets is a concrete and steel 28 storey office building designed by Lucas Architects. The MCC Creche Building facing Russell Street is a six storey steel and brick building designed by Kerstin Thompson. There are two carparks one of which is a commercial carpark with multiple entrances and the private carpark servicing the residential buildings with a main entrance off Russell Street.
